While on the red carpet for the grand opening of Jurassic World: The Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood, Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), Chris Pratt (Owen Grady) and director, Colin Trevorrow gave some insight on the final film of the franchise.
When asked about the third and final installment, Howard pleads, “I just don’t want to die”. With filming set to start in early 2020, Howard is excited to reprise her role for the final chapter.
Chris Pratt, who plays Owen Grady admits that he hasn’t read the script yet, but he has had the story pitched to him and promises, “Fans are going to lose their mind.” He also explains that, “It’s the combination of all the greatest parts of Jurassic that you love from the very first up to the most recent one. It’s going to truly deliver on the promise. It’s going to blow you away.”
The films’ director, Colin Trevorrow gushes over his excitement for this final installment, claiming, “All I can say is, it’s the movie I’ve been waiting to make the whole time. And it’s the movie we’ve been building to. And the one that we’ve made two films to honestly make sense of and to earn. Dinosaurs are going to have to coexist with humans in the world and what’s that going to look like?”
Howard and Pratt braved the dinosaurs once more and took a ride through Jurassic World. Howard admits that it felt like she was back on set. She’s excited for fans of the franchise to have the chance to feel like she did while on set. “This ride is so, so, so fun because you feel like you’re inside the movie.” Howard explains after seeing all the animatronic dinosaurs throughout the ride.
